The stats is unfortunately deprived of 15 out of 50 games (70%), but the numbers of aces/double faults (McEnroe 3, Connors 0)/break points are correct for the entire match.

It’s arguably the best comeback in McEnroe’s career. He blew a set point in the 2nd set and lost 11 games in a row! He seemed downhearted, but from *1:3 (15/30) in the 4th – with the help of the crowd – he managed to win six games in a row! In the final set he led 5:3*, then served to stay in the match at 5:6 (held at ‘love’) to take the ensuing tie-break rather easily 7/3.

McEnroe & Connors played against each other 34 official matches (20-14 Mac) including five 5-setters (3-2 Jimbo):
    1980 Philadelphia (F): Connors 6-3, 2-6, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4… 45 games (13 breaks of serve)… 3 hours 15 minutes
    1980 US Open (SF): McEnroe 6-4, 5-7, 0-6, 6-3, 7-6… 50 games (14 breaks of serve)… 4 hours 16 minutes
    1981 Wembley (F): Connors 3-6, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-2… 44 games… (7 breaks of serve)… 3 hours 30 minutes
    1982 Wimbledon (F): Connors 3-6, 6-3, 6-7, 7-6, 6-4… 54 games (9 breaks of serve)… 4 hours 14 minutes
    1984 US Open (SF): McEnroe 6-4, 4-6, 7-5, 4-6, 6-3… 51 games (15 breaks of serve)… 3 hours 46 minutes
