   En route to the final Berdych defeated Federer & Djokovic in back-to-back matches! So defeating the three best players of the first two decades of the 21st Century it was a too much demanding task for the Czech… Ugly final, one of those to be quickly forgotten. Berdych led 3:2* in the 1st set, and from the moment Nadal was leading all the time, serving well and waiting for his opponent’s baseline errors – they came at the end of each set, especially at 6:5 in the 2nd set.
