   The 35-year-old [7] Agassi led *4:2 (30/0) in the 3rd set of that 2-hour 20-minute final & he was three points away from winning that pivotal set at 5:4. Agassi’s 90th and last final (60-30 record). Federer [1] became the first man since 1987 to reach all four major semifinals within a calendar year. He had defeated Agassi on the same court also a year before, but then needed five sets (similar progress of sets).
