   Del Potro [7] snapped [1] Djokovic’s 22-match winning streak! In the deciding set Djokovic led 3:0* but squandered a three-game advantage in the decisive set for the first time since Marseille 2007, when he lost to Youzhny 4-6, 6-4, 6-7(0) despite leading 4:1* in the 3rd set. For Del Potro, it was the second victory from a 0:3 deficit in the decider (the previous one he notched four years before against another genius – Nadal). The Argentine finished the IW semifinal with an ace, and it was the only point that separated them in total points. Djokovic led 9:2 in their rivalry afterwards, but the only previous defeat he suffered when unable to continue due to injury already after the opener.
