   Cilic & Dimitrov have played six times against each other, and five of those matches were uncertain with their outcome to the last point; the boring Cincy semifinal (played with rather empty stands after midnight due to two-hour rain-break in the 2nd game) was one of those matches… Dimitrov [34] was in front almost the entire decider, he already thought he led 3:0*, but Cilic’s ball caught the baseline, then the Bulgarian had a game point at 4:2, he was also two points away from the final at 5:4 (30-all) – Cilic [14] responded with a good second serve & Dimitrov’s sliced backhand flew outside… finally at 5-all Dimitrov led 30/0 on serve when his forehand completely deserted him. The Croat finished the contest with an ace down the T.
