   In the tie-break Berdych saved set point at *5:6 to win it 8/6. He led 5:4* in the 4th set – Murray held at ’30’. It was their second Grand Slam semifinal, previously at the US Open 2012 the pattern of the match was very similar – Murray won 5-7, 6-2, 6-1, 7-6(7) in 3 hours 58 minutes, this time the match lasted 3 hours 26 minutes. Both their major semifinals umpired Pascal Maria.

   Prior to that semifinal, Berdych led 6:4 in their H2H, but Murray finished it winning 7 times in a row (16 straight sets)
