   # The same players in the Adelaide final second successive year and similar progress like a year before, yet reversal outcome. Hewitt [25] led *2:1 in the 3rd set when saved a triple break point. The teenage Australian had played third consecutive finals in his hometown! Enqvist [4] was in a great form at the time, it seemed he would be No. 1 player soon, but with that lost final, his great form disappeared.
