  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 48-47, 40-34 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    22 % Sinner – 18 of 81
    30 % Bublik – 27 of 88

The first Masters 1K for them both and 19-year-old Sinner [31] needed 1 hour 40 minutes to eliminate four years older Bublik [44]. The Kazakh led in both sets, but they had different complexion. In the opener he led 5:3* and *4:1 in the the tie-break which he lost 5/7, playing with a solid game-plan (as I assume). In the 2nd set he began to mix up the game a lot (constant attacks to the net behind the serve, underarm serves) and it distracted Sinner a bit, but once the Italian trailed *0:3, he adjusted his returns to Bublik’s second serves, breaking him twice (Sinner saved five break points at 2:3). “You are not a human, man,” Bublik said to Sinner during handshakes. “You are 15 years old and you play like this. Good job.” In their previous event in Dubai, Sinner beat Bublik 2-6, 7-6, 6-4 in their first meeting.

    Serve & volley: Sinner 0, Bublik 6/21
