   # Leconte [12] and Gomez [9], two very gifted left-handers, they spent the entire 80s on the tour together, yet faced each other just 5 times, unfortunately concluding their matches always in straight-setters. Two times they occurred at Slams, Leconte won 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 in Paris ’85, a bit more demanding was their London match two years later played on Centre Court, but the Frenchman wasn’t seriously threatened in any set. Gomez got a break in each set first, only to lose his serve in the following game: it happened at 1-all, 0-all & 3-all in respective sets. On Leconte’s first match point, the Ecuadorian committed a double fault.

   # Todd Martin & Marc Rosset (both born in 1970) spent their careers together on the Tour in the 90s and never met!
