   For the second time in major semifinals of 1996, following the Australian Open, Chang [3] defeats Agassi [9] in three easy sets controlling the match from the beginning to the end. Actually their NYC semifinal was open to many different scenarios until the end of the third game of the 2nd set – after change of ends, Chang won two games in a row consisted of 10 deuces in total (they lasted 19 minutes); led *2:1 instead of hypothetically trailing *0:3, and never looked back serving extremely well (for his height), arguably better than ever.
