   Simon had overwhelming advantage over Lopez from start to finish, bigger than the scoreline would indicate. The Spaniard didn’t get ‘deuce’ even once in Simon’s 10 service games. The Frenchman confirmed his supremacy in the tie-break which he won 7/1. Simon was playing his fifth “Masters 1K’ semifinal, advancing to the final for the second time (previously in Madrid ’08)… Lopez has lost his four ‘Masters 1K’ semifinals, three of them in Shanghai (2009, 11 & 14) “I just know that I can do it,” said Simon. “When I’m playing good, I can play at their level. This I’m not worried about. The question is whether I will be able to do it tomorrow. I just know now more about the top guys, about how it’s going to be tomorrow. It’s not new anymore. I just hope it will help me to play a great match.“
