Federer’s [2] toughest match en route to his lone French Open title. It was a bizarre encounter because Federer was actually playing very well from the beginning to the end, yet he had to save a mini-match point to avoid a 0-3 defeat! In the opening set he didn’t lose a point on serve, but ended up losing the tie-break 4/7. Mathematically it is possible to lose a TB set having won 10 points more, Federer won 6 more.
