   The end-station for the 30-year-old Evans [33] in the best tournament of his life (he defeated four higher ranked players en route to the semifinal: Lajovic, Hurkacz, Djokovic, Goffin) even though he entered the event with very poor 4-13 record on clay! Against Tsitsipas [5], he had no chance, similarly to their two previous meetings (both last year). “I’m feeling energised. I still have plenty of gas and energy left in me.” said the Greek, who advanced to his first Monte Carlo final easily wins four matches.
