   An exiting through three sets, 3-hour 11-minute night session clash of completely different game-styles: Noah [13] could have hurt Muster [14] with powerful serves and constant attacking the net, while Muster was actually winning all longer baseline rallies. After dropping the first two sets, the Austrian fought off a double break point at 0:1 in the 3rd set and got the momentum gaining five straight games afterwards. Noah suffered his second defeat leading two-sets-to-love within two weeks. # He run out of gas having played three five-setters before the semifinal. He needed 3:04h on average while seven years younger Muster 2:10h. The difference was especially visible in the last 40 minutes of the match – Muster won 23 consecutive points on serve! For Noah it was a third time within three editions of the “fifth Grand Slam” (1987-89), someone defeated him the semifinal (Mecir, Wilander, Muster).
