   The biggest title in career of the 27-year-old Frenchman [18], who needed 2 hours 40 minutes in the final that was played indoors (bad weather). In the opening set Almagro [14] wasted eight break points in three games, then he came back from a break down in the 2nd set (earlier on he led 3:0*), and the 3rd set was decided in the first game, in which Simon converted his fourth opportunity. Simon hadn’t any problems to hold his five service games afterwards.
