Since the mid-4th set he was struggling with a pain in his right thigh (broken to ‘love’ at 3-all), and the decider was one-sided throughout. The Canadian saved five break points to avoid a triple break down at 0:4. In the last sixty minutes of the match his movement was restricted and a grimace on his face visible especially as he tried to play backhands.
