    Points won by each set: | 34-36, 42-36, 36-38, 35-31 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    46 % Agassi – 64 of 139
    50 % Johansson – 75 of 149

A remarkable 2-hour 38-minute match due to Johansson’s unbelievable service performance, and a new record of aces, overcoming 49 aces of Krajicek (in five sets) struck six years earlier. The Swede [11] employed extremely aggressive tactics, trying to hit the ball as hard as he could not only on serve, but also with his groundstrokes in order to avoid any longer rallies. It almost gave him a two-sets-to-love lead – Agassi [8] withstood a mini-set point at 3:4 in the 2nd set though, with a forehand passing-shot winner. In the 4th set the Swede led *2:0 (deuce) to lose four straight games being tired after a five-set marathon a round before (vs F.Lopez). Enormous amount of energy he had put into almost each shot against Agassi took its toll too. Tie-breaks: 4/7, 7/5, 7/3.

    Placement of Johansson’s aces in the picture (29 deuce-court | 22 ad-court)

51 aces & 24 service winners/unreturnable serves, mind-blowing stuff in four sets on a hardcourt under the Sun, yet he lost his serve thrice
Number of aces in sets respectively: 14, 16, 9, 12
    His aces on 2nd serve: 14th, 25th, 27th, 33rd, 35th & 51st
