  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 48-49, 32-28 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    32 % Djokovic – 22 of 68
    24 % Massu – 22 of 89

Great rivals, Nadal & Djokovic won their maiden titles as teenagers not dropping a set, playing 25th main-level events each of them, and in both cases those finals umpired Mohamed Lahyani of Sweden. Another similarities: their maiden titles had the same prestige (ATP 250), and both memorable tournaments for them, had been playing on clay in similar period of time; the Dutch Open in Amersfoort was held in years 2002-2008… Djokovic [36] led 3:0* against Massu [37], but the Chilean came back, saved a set point in the 12th game to lead 3:0* in the tie-break – Djokovic improved to 6:4 & converted his third set point. Decisive break of the 2nd set the Serb obtained at 3-all. The final lasted 2 hours 20 minutes, which has been the second longest two-set victory in Djokovic’s career (2:28 hrs vs Stan Wawrinka 7-6, 7-6 at Indian Wells ’09).

Djokovic’s route to his maiden title (25th main-level event):
    1 Boris Pashanski 6-0, 6-3
    2 Tomas Zib 6-4, 6-2
    Q Marc Gicquel 6-3, 6-4
    S Guillermo Coria 6-2, 1-0 ret.
    W Nicolas Massu 7-6(5), 6-4
