   55 % Janowicz – 57 of 103 !!
   32 % Kubot – 32 of 100

   The first all-country European quarterfinal at Wimbledon since 1993 (Boris Becker d. Michael Stich)… In the only meeting between these two Polish players, Janowicz saved a set point at *4:5 with the longest rally of the match (Janowicz made a forehand winner on the 13th stroke). In that quarterfinal it was supposed to witness a clash between Federer & Nadal, but they lost in the second (Stakhovsky) & first (Darcis) rounds respectively. Kubot [130] tried to be aggressive as a receiver, standing inside the court in return games, but this tactics didn’t work out, and he was unable to respond to more than half of [22] Janowicz’s serves.
