In the 3rd set he trailed *0:2 (deuce), then led *5:3 to lose 16 of the last 19 points. “It was very tough, with lots of long rallies and long games,” said Murray [11]. “The third set was very back and forth, so mentally it was quite a tough match for both of us. I managed to be a bit more consistent and aggressive at the end.” # It was their second final in which Ferrer was close to win but lost.
