    The year 1992 was very disappointing for Lendl [12]. For the first time since 1980 he dropped outside the Top 10, and then he rediscovered great form, easily advancing to two Masters 1K events (Canadian Open, Cincinnati) separated by the Olympic Games in Barcelona – losing those finals 1-2 to the best players of the 90s (Agassi & Sampras). Masur [53] the double Slam semifinalist, played his lone Masters 1K semifinal in Toronto, and hadn’t too many arguments against the rock solid Lendl’s game. Two years later on the same court, Lendl destroys Masur 6-0, 6-0 in 41 minutes. After that victory, Lendl wins only five more matches in his career.
