  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 52-61, 30-21, 36-28 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    17 % Gasquet – 22 of 123
    18 % Murray – 19 of 105

Third round, an almost 3-hour match, but I decided to make stats of it because the first set has been one of the longest tie-break sets each of them played (in terms of total points; it’s a rarity that during a tie-break set one player wins 60 points or more), and Murray [4] lost the match with an abysmal break point ratio, unusual for himself, however, I can’t tell he lost because of wasted break point chances – he had 1/13 (4) already in the 1st set which he won 7/1 anyway (7 out of 12 games went to ‘deuce’). In the 3rd set there was 1-all when Gasquet [22] won the longest game of the match (after 7 deuces, saved two BPs) and he took the last four games rather easily, Murray was struggling with his hip (this I assumed by his body language, yet credit to Gasquet for staying calm and collected because Murray won many matches not looking particularly fit).
