   In the middle of the match the Slovak won 10 out of 11 games & led 3:0* in the 3rd set, later on the Russian had two game points to level at 5-all. The 21-year-old Hrbaty won another three matches & achieved his only major semifinal (tight 4-set loss to Andre Agassi). It’s a unique Head-to-Head in the Slovak-Russian rivalry that an inferior player owned the higher ranked one, Hrbaty won it 9-4 leading 3:0 after Paris.
