   The third & last French Open quarter-final between them (previously five-setters in 1997 and 2000)… every time on Philippe Chatrier & every time Guga [1] became the champion a few days later, the main difference – in two previous matches he trailed ‘1:2’ in sets, that time he was close to be at this position again as he fought off 5 mini-set points at 4-all in the 3rd set, including 0/40. In the 4th set the Russian [7] improved from Guga’s game point at 3:0 to have a break point to level at 4-all.
