   In 1999 Sampras [2] rediscovered his great form winning 4 titles in a row, Los Angeles was the third in the streak. In the 1st set at 4-all (30/40) he saved a break point when Agassi’s BH passing-shot down the line, sailed wide. In the 2nd set leading 6:5* (30/15) – Agassi [3] netted Sampras’ 2nd serve, on set point Sampras delivered a service winner. In both sets Agassi won more points before the tie-breaks, but couldn’t do too much in them both. Especially the 2nd set was painful for him, because he was serving tremendously well (79% of first serves in the match, with normal pace!), yet he began the tie-break serving his only double fault.
