   The crucial moment of that 2-hour 46-minute encounter played in the dazzling Sun, came at 2:1* (0/15) for Sampras [5] in the 3rd set, when Becker [1] committed three double faults in a row (!), then Sampras hit a lucky return on a break point with the frame of his racquet that landed near the baseline forcing Becker’s backhand error. Sampras’ first victory over Becker in their second official meeting… They will play against each other seven finals in total (Sampras 6-1).
