   Fourth rubber in a tie between Poland and Slovakia, held in Gdynia, indoors (Rebound Ace). The first meeting between Klizan [36] & Janowicz [61]. The Slovak wins his sixth Davis Cup rubber in a row not dropping a set (17-0 in sets); he was three points away from losing the 2nd set. Poland, in its 77th year of participation in the Davis Cup competitions, survives the tie though, advancing for the first time to the World Group.
