  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 36-39, 33-25, 40-34 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    32 % Carreno – 31 of 95
    47 % Bublik – 53 of 112

Carreno [63] led 5:4* (30/0) in the opener after two double faults of Bublik [71]. The Kazakh saved a double set point in that game and won the tie-break with a perfect stop-volley. The only break of the match came at 3-all in the 2nd set. Carreno was *5:6 (30-all) in the decider when his second serve Bublik returned wide with his forehand. Even though Bublik was serving tremendously well, he lost his first two service points and trailed 0:4 in the ensuing tie-break. # When they played for the first time three years before and Bublik was just a freshman [ranked 266], Carreno beat him in the deriding 3rd set too (saving a double minimatch point). “This year was very tough for me because of the injuries at the beginning of the year,” said Carreno Busta. “I had [a lot of time] off the courts and it is really tough when you cannot play and enjoy this sport.”

Carreno’s route to his 4th title:
    1 Radu Albot 6-3, 6-4
    2 Benoit Paire 6-3, 3-6, 6-3
    Q Christian Garin 7-5, 6-2
    S Denis Shapovalov 6-3, 6-4
    W Alexander Bublik 6-7(5), 6-4, 7-6(3)

    Serve & volley: Carreno 1/1, Bublik 13/19
