   Four years waited Wawrinka [23] for his second title. He was playing a perfect match against Hanescu [43] until *5:1 (30/15) in the 2nd set when things got a bit complicated & the Swiss was forced to save a double break point serving for the second time to win the Grand Prix Hassan II. “I’m very happy with my win today,” said Wawrinka. ”I’ve lost five finals in a row and now finally I have the trophy in my hands. I felt great during the whole match and never allowed Victor to get into the game. I think this was my best match of the week.” The final lasted 1 hour 16 minutes, two days later Wawrinka beats Hanescu 6-2 6-4 in the first round of Monte Carlo in a 7-minute shorter encounter..
