  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 32-24, 16-28, 29-17 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    33 % Dimitrov – 26 of 77
    17 % Nishikori – 12 of 69

The only match in which Dimitrov [17] has beaten Nishikori [5] so far (six meetings). The Bulgarian saved break points in his two opening games. In the 3rd set he obtained the only break leading 4:3 (Nishikori led 30/0 in that game). The Japanese took a medical time-out before the decider. “It’s been pretty emotional past year so for me, this trophy means a lot,” Dimitrov, whose previous ATP title came at Queen’s Club in 2014, “These 10 days out here for this tournament have been the most fun I’ve ever had on a tennis court, and off the court.”

Dimitrov’s route to his 5th title:
    1 Steve Johnson 6-2, 6-3
    2 Nicolas Mahut 6-2, 6-4
    Q Dominic Thiem 6-3, 4-6, 6-3
    S Milos Raonic 7-6(7), 6-2
    W Kei Nishikori 6-2, 2-6, 6-3

    Serve & volley: Dimitrov 0, Nishikori 2/2
