Adriano Panatta is the only man to beat Borg at the French Open.
The Italian did it twice (!), the final in Bastad ’74 separated those two Borg’s defeats in Paris… In the 1st set, Borg saved a triple break point at 5:3 and it upset Panatta very much – he lost 11 straight games in total (from *3:4 in 1st to 0:3* in 3rd). Borg was leading *6:5 (40/0) when the Italian saved the triple match point attacking the net on each occasion to win 12 out of 14 points.
