   Points won by each set: | 34-25, 44-36, 32-26 |

   There was 5-all in the 2nd set tie-break when Kyrgios sent his backhand wide off Murray’s second serve.
   On Murray’s first set point, the Scot managed to lob his opponent with the backhand.
   Percentage of points won directly behind the serve:
   36 % Murray – 32 points of 87 serves
   22 % Kyrgios – 25 points of 110 serves

   Kyrgios became the first teenager since Roger Federer in 2001, to reach two Grand Slam quarter-finals.
