Dr. Ivo is back! Nestor’s record

Ivo Karlovic, known as the tallest player, ace-machine and the most frequent tie-break player, comes back after 8-month injury in characteristic style in Doha, winning two matches in which were played 5 tie-breaks (no breaks of serve):

38-year-old Daniel Nestor establishes a new record in most doubles matches won in the Open era. The Canadian along with Max Mirnyi beat today the German duo, Benjamin Becker and Michael Kohlmann 6-1, 6-2 in Brisbane (quarterfinal). It’s Nestor’s 783rd doubles win in his career, surpasses the previous record of Todd Woodbridge. Here’s a list of 5 players who won the most doubles matches  in the Open era (5.01.2011):
