Two tie-breaks

New year, new expectations…
I like different Internet tools so I’ve decided to write regularly about men’s tennis in 2011 on my blog, at least once per week, the first six months. I believe this season will be more interesting than the previous one, among my several tennis wishes for ’11, is a wish to see the end of ‘Fedal’ domination (rather wishful thinking ;)). I don’t wish them bad, just I like diversification, surprises, new faces on the tennis stage. For the time being, in New Year’s Eve, Nadal overcame Federer in two tie-breaks (7-4, 7-3) in exotic Abu Dhabi.
In three cities (Doha, Chennai, Brisbane) have started qualifying tournaments, no big names in the draws, I saw somewhere Koubek, seeded with No. 5 in quallies out there, I guess one of the biggest candidates to the retirement this year.
In Perth,  were played the first matches of the  23rd edition of the Hopman Cup. In the opening match, Australia  beat Belgium 2-1.
