   Analogous match to [5] Chang’s quarterfinal at Roland Garros ’95 when he faced a qualifier Voinea [128] and dropped just six games. Against Tillstrom [105], who also played his career-best major as someone outside the Top 100, he dropped just six games as well, but the Voinea match was more challenging because Chang trailed 3:5 in the opener before taking total control. Facing Tillstrom, Chang controlled the match from the beginning with better serving and constant ground-strokes, he already led 2:0* in the 3rd set when he loosened a bit allowing the Swede to get more cheaper points on serve.
