   Their first meeting following the French Open final more than a year before, and these two matches showed big difference between clay and grass in the 90s. Chang [22] had no chance on Centre Court in London, even though his passing-shots were quite dangerous; on grass Edberg [3] simply could attack the net with ease as a receiver. As Chang trailed *1:5 in the 2nd set, he decided to change his tactics to play a standard for grass at the time, serve-and-volley game, but it was unnatural for him and the 3rd set he lost even quicker than the sets preceding.
