  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 29-24, 25-11, 11-26, 30-21 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    30 % Djokovic – 29 of 95
    34 % Nadal – 28 of 82

Nadal was a defending champion. It was his fifth Wimbledon in five successive appearances there (missed the event in 2009 due to injury), and the last one… After Wimbledon 2011, Djokovic became the best player in the world, unofficially it happened after his semifinal victory over Tsonga. My description of the final.

Djokovic’s route to his 26th title:
    1 Jeremy Chardy 6-4, 6-1, 6-1
    2 Kevin Anderson 6-3, 6-4, 6-2
    3 Marcos Baghdatis 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4
    4 Michael Llodra 6-3, 6-3, 6-3
    Q Bernard Tomic 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5
    S Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 7-6(4), 6-2, 6-7(9), 6-3
    W Rafael Nadal 6-4, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3
