   Nadal [1] played a perfect match tactically, being more aggressive with his backhand than usual and standing extremely far behind the baseline at his returns – this tactics proved to be efficient from the beginning. He forced Anderson [32] to a heavy work already in the first three service games of the South African. Anderson survived those games after many deuces (5-3, 10-8, 9-7 in points, respectively), but finally lost his fourth consecutive ‘deuce’ service game at 3-all with two double faults within four points from 40/15… The Spaniard broke his opponent four times in total whereas Anderson had lost his serve only five times in his previous six matches. The last game of the final it was the only one on Nadal’s serve as Anderson got ‘deuce’.
