   A time when Norman [4] was trying to become the best player in the world and with this performance it seemed within his reach. The 19-year-old Hewitt [12] had no chance, the match reminded the first two sets of their previous meeting at the Australian Open ’00 (Norman won in straight sets). The last game of the match was the only one with ‘deuce’, Norman needed five match points on serve.
