   A time when Norman [4] was trying to become the best player in the world and with this performance it seemed within his grasp. The 19-year-old Hewitt [12] had no chance, the match reminded the first two sets of their previous meeting at the Australian Open ’00 (Norman had won in straight sets). The last game of the match it was the only one with ‘deuce’, Norman needed five match points on serve.
