   [10] Grosjean’s back-to-back major semifinal, and as opposed to the first one, he didn’t create a chance to beat Corretja [13]. The Spaniard, as a much more natural clay-courter, controlled the final outcome, yet the first two sets weren’t easy for him. He came back from a break down in both sets, in the 2nd set it was *0:3 (Corretja won five straight games then). Only one break in the 3rd set, it happened in game no. 3: instead of concluding the opening point with a forehand volley, Grosjean opted for a backhand half-volley, however, he was lobbed, leading to a chase for the ball, and he paid the price in the following points for his oxygen deficit.
