  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 34-19, 32-22 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    35 % Rosset – 18 of 51
    19 % Steeb – 11 of 56

November 15, 1992 – there were two finals in European cities, and both ‘6-2, 6-2’ were won by very tall players, top servers, against left-handers utilising two-handed backhands; [46] Rosset’s final at the Kremlin Cup was 17 minutes shorter than Krajicek’s triumph in Antwerp. The Swiss giant failed to capitalise on four break points in Steeb’s first two service games, but afterwards Steeb [35] was pretty hopeless losing nine successive games. He finally created his first break point opportunity in the last game of the final which Rosset finished with two forehand winners down the line.

Rosset’s route to his 4th title:
    1 Jeremy Bates 6-4, 6-4
    2 Yevgeny Kafelnikov 6-7(4), 6-3, 7-6(5) ☆
    Q Karel Novacek 6-4, 6-2
    S Cedric Pioline 7-6(1), 6-1
    W Carl-Uwe Steeb 6-2, 6-2

☆ 18-year-old Kafelnikov [394, qualifier] was playing his just fourth main-level event
