   Moya [5] began the fourth & decisive rubber exceptionally focused – he led 4:0* after 15 minutes, despite Roddick [2] serving 63% first serves in, on average 220 km/h! From that moment to the end, the match between two former best players in the world remained quite balanced. The American was two points away from winning the 2nd set (earlier led 3:1), and three points away in the last set. “It is a moment I have been waiting for for many years,” Moya said, tears glistening in his eyes. “An incredible way to win the Cup. The Davis Cup is my dream. I don’t believe there is anything bigger than what I’ve lived through today.” Moya’s victory over Roddick made his fellow Mallorcan Nadal the youngest player to help win the Davis Cup. Aged 18 years and 185 days, Nadal beat the record set by Australia’s Pat Cash in 1983 by 30 days… Prior to their Davis Cup encounter, Roddick had won all three previous matches against Moya, but every time the deciding set was required.
