   Actually the end of career of 27-year-old Srichaphan [54]. It was very surprising that the match was so tight because at the time Federer [1] was defeating almost everyone, everywhere. The Thai saved a match point at *4:5 and 5:6 in the 3rd set, then led 5:3* in the ensuing tie-break. Federer got the first required point on his serve quickly. Another three points it were long rallies for indoor standards; in each of them Srichaphan had a leading position, but lost them all. He was forced to retire during his another event (Paris), wrist injury caused several early loses in the early 2007. He took a break, disappeared from the ranking, wanted to come back in 2010, but a serious motorcycle accident prevented it.
