   Their first meeting. At *5:6 in the opener, Leconte [14] withstood a set point after [21] Svensson’s forehand error to take the breaker 7/3. From the beginning of the 3rd set Leconte accelerated his shots, attacking the net constantly, he was trailing *1:3, but didn’t change his attitude at all, and collected five straight games finishing the 2-hour 10-minute contest with a backhand passing-shot winner. Two years later on the same court Svensson takes his revenge.
