   The repeat of the ’15 final, [14] Raonic’s first victory over Federer [3] in their seventh meeting, and what’s more surprising, the Canadian didn’t win thanks to extraordinary serving – he was simply playing his backhand a bit above his standards, and mixing the net-approaches wisely. At 1:2 in the 2nd set he took an unexpected toilet break… The rest of the season indicated Federer had some physical issues (mainly knee), he couldn’t reach another final, and stopped playing after Wimbledon (he lost to Raonic again). Many believed he was finished at the age of 35, but he came back after a six-month break playing amazing tennis one more time, it lasted 1.5 years, during that period he claimed another three majors (the previous Slam had won in 2012).
