  1. Voo de Mar says:
The stats without eight games (38 of 46… 82%); number of aces, double faults and break points valid for the entire contest.

    Points won by each set: [ 32-30, 31-25, 22-27, 32-27 ]
    Points on serve:
    Henman – 112; Agassi – 114

Two guys in very good form – Henman [11] was fresh after winning an indoor title in Tashkent (as a defending champion) while Agassi [8] came to Switzerland after reaching a Munich-Grand Slam Cup final where he lost in five sets to Marcelo Rios… There was 4-all in both sets won 6-4 by Henman; in the 1st set he saved a triple break point at 3-all, in the 4th set he led *4:2, Agassi levelled, but the last two games were easily won by the Brit who played a defensive lob on his first match point, and Agassi missed an overhead from the back of the court (usually his trademark shot). A few months earlier they’d met for the first time, also in the final, and Agassi prevailed it in straight sets (Los Angeles).

Henman’s route to his 4th title:
    1 Jason Stoltenberg 2-6, 6-3, 6-4
    2 Hicham Arazi 6-4, 7-6(4)
    Q Nicolas Kiefer 6-3, 6-4
    S Thomas Johansson 6-3, 2-6, 7-6(5)
    W Andre Agassi 6-4, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4
