US Open – Day 9 (4R)

No play due to bad weather (heavy rain). All four matches in the bottom half of the draw have been shifted from Tuesday to Wednesday. Three matches were supposed to play at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Simon and Isner were scheduled to play at Louis Armstrong Stadium. Three out of four matches in the last 16, have been rescheduled onto other courts, only a match between Nadal and Muller has been kept at the main arena.

Jimmy Connors won 232 or 233 Grand Slam matches???
I found that won 40 at Roland Garros, 84 at Wimbledon, 98 at US Open but at Australian Open won 10 ( or 11 (

Do you know why tennis 28 put 11 at Australian Open???

Yes, the problem is connected with the fact that on ATP website there’s lack of one Connors’s win at the Australian Open in 1975. He beat in the first round Kachel 7-5 6-2 6-3. ATP says that he beat Pinner in the first round which was the second round match… 🙂 I’ve corrected it on wikipedia.

    Thanks Wanaro and thanks Voo
