   [60] Larsson’s biggest win at the time. Night session match on Stadium Court, Becker [4] began it slowly which was characteristic for him, but in the 2nd set he had no time to improve because his opponent was serving like in a trance. In the first ten service games 23-year-old Larsson dropped just eight points. But when he was broken it happened twice in a row, and Becker was on his way to win another five-setter from a 0-2 deficit (he had done it in 1R vs Cherkasov) leading 2:0* (40/30) in the 4th set – the Swede responded with his first serve-and-volley action. He broke back in game no. 4 and another break at 6:5 gave him the victory – he jumped over the net in celebration!
