  1. Voo de Mar says:
    Points won by each set: | 32-28, 29-25 |
Points won directly behind the serve:
    37 % Murray – 22 of 59
    32 % Blake – 18 of 55

The 30-year-old Blake [16] was the closest to win a set among Murray’s opponents that week in London. He led 5:4* (30/15) when the Brit got a point quickly with a curved serve down the T. In the 2nd set Murray broke for a 4:3 lead. “It’s been a great week for me,” Murray [4] said in a courtside interview. “This is some of the best tennis I’ve ever played in my life. I was quite nervous because people were telling me no Briton had won here for quite a while but when I had my chances I managed to take them. The only thing left for me is to win a Grand Slam. Hopefully I can do that at Wimbledon in a couple of weeks.” Murray played very well at Wimbledon ’09, but his 10-match winning streak was snapped as he faced Roddick in the semifinal… The last final in Blake’s career (10-14 record).

Murray’s route to his 12th title:
    2 Andreas Seppi 6-1, 6-4
    3 Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-4, 6-4
    Q Mardy Fish 7-5, 6-3
    S Juan C. Ferrero 6-2, 6-4
    W James Blake 7-5, 6-4

    Serve & volley: Murray 0, Blake 1/1
