   Just six days after their Indianapolis final, they met again, and the scoreline was almost repeated. As opposed to their previous match, Berger [14] won the opener, he had a great record that year winning the 1st set, but McEnroe [5] used all his experience to take two consecutive sets. In the mid-set he survived three games facing break points, and raced to a *4:1 (deuce) lead in the decider. Then, after being broken, he decided to be focused on his serve, and Berger managed to hold at ‘love’ his last two service games while McEnroe hadn’t any problems on his serve too, at the end.
